Educational Requirements:College Degree desired but not a requirement.
Industry certifications and training preferred.
Experience Requirements:Minimum of 3-5 years experience maintaining golf course equipment. Experience with Toro and Club Cart fleet. Experience with Club Cart electric golf carts. Experience with Foley Accumaster grinders and very detailed HOC setup. We do not backlap- only grind. Maintain an exceptional level of cut quality. Ability to manage inventory/budgets and have long term forecasting for parts. Ability to train.
Special Requirements:Ability to operate in an island environment with challenging locale/ situations to keep our equipment fleet operating at a very high level.Experience with fabricating. Ability to train and to organize and maintain facilities. High level of communication.

Temporary mechanic is leaving in middle of August. Looking to bring in a full time mechanic with island experience.

Some of its signature holes include:

Players being greeted by a spectacular vista of St. Maarten and the Caribbean Sea at the tee box of the 390-yard starting hole. The fairway descends over 40-feet to a narrow, two-tiered green sitting precariously on the edge of a saltwater lagoon. Robb Report called this first hole, "The Caribbean's answer to the 18th at Pebble Beach."
Large sand dunes on the left and a saltwater pond on the right framing the perilous drive on the 440-yard 16th hole that plays dead into the trade winds and ends with an elevated green surrounded by water and protected by deep bunkers.
The drive for the finishing hole carrying the edge of the mangrove thicket in a vast stretch of saltmarsh that winds through eight of the course holes. The narrowing fairway ascends forty feet through rugged terrain to a narrow green carved out of the native shrub.


The equipment manager reports to the golf course superintendent and oversees a comprehensive preventive maintenance program. This program includes the repair of failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment, and placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment or service. The equipment manager properly communicates any needs or problems relating to the maintenance or repair of equipment to the superintendent and/or the assistant superintendent, and schedules and directs the work assignments of the assistant equipment manager. The equipment manager places safety as a top priority and is responsible for maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building.
