Even with the influx of self-propelled rotary mowers, some of the smaller courses and those with limited budgets may not be able to afford a $40-60K machine for mowing rough. Orlando GIS

Good evening. Steve and I just got back from the Orlando Convention center. I've got some pics but the captions are not coming through. Here's the link to the slide show. http://golftechs.net/images/2008gcsaa-1/

New in Orlando

They begin with pics of Steve and Ray Hooker at Interlachen CC. One of the pics is of Ray with his wooden reel parts. These were the prototype for the reel deal with the helix.

From Bernhard there are a new reel and bedknife grinder, Uwe from Germany is one of the pics :) ; a twin nozzle, 40HP blower from Buffalo Turbine as well as a 13HP Honda powered smaller version of their best seller; new walkbehind greensmowers from Hustler (yes Hustler) as well as a fairway mower and an AWD front mount. From IGCEMA there is a pic of Steve Spuhler, Mike Kriz and Scott Sanderson, then another of Stephen Tucker, past President and John Patterson, President and Mike Kriz, Secretary/Treasurer.

We'll have more tomorrow and try to get the captions straightened out.
